Pear,Blackberry & Amaretto Jam

Our Pear, Blackberry & Amaretto Jam starts with local pears and juicy blackberries, then gets a generous splash of Amaretto. That little hit of almond liqueur really wakes up the natural sweetness of the pears and gives the whole jar a lovely soft, nutty depth.

It’s the kind of jam that feels a bit special without trying too hard.

Three ways we love using it:

1.  On the everyday – Thickly spread on a slice of homemade brown bread with plenty of butter. Simple, proper, and hard to beat.

2.  In baking – Spoon it into the middle of a Bakewell tart or swirl it through a plain sponge cake for a fruity, almondy surprise.

3.  With yoghurt – Stir a spoonful into a bowl of natural yoghurt for a quick breakfast that tastes far better than it should.
